Services our Back Pain Specialist Provides in Houston
Inovospine was founded by Dr. Pawan Grover. He is an interventional specialist with 20+ years of experience. At Inovospine, we specialize in the treatment of both acute and chronic pain conditions. We are also committed to providing minimally invasive procedures with minimal recovery and outpatient solutions to treat the root cause of your pain.
We understand that chronic pain is a complicated, often debilitating medical problem that can have a major impact on both you and your family’s physical and mental well-being. The most common complications with the treatment of your chronic pain are the uncertainty of your diagnosis and not knowing which treatment plan is best for you…medication(s), physical therapy, injections and/or surgery?
To make things more frustrating, patients are given different diagnosis, sometimes based on the same MRI/CAT scan findings, and patients are bombarded with new treatments, surgeries and procedures every day.
We make it a priority to educate our patients thoroughly on their conditions and customize a treatment plan that is specific to you and your healthcare needs.
Innovative Approach to Back Pain Treatment
MRI/s, CAT scans, x-rays and imaging studies are useful tools, but looked at individually, they do not show the root cause of the problem. Why is that? Because imaging studies show the anatomy of a region. Rarely does an imaging study show one problem, more commonly, several problems will be seen. Complicating this, is that just because we see a disc problem for example, does not mean that is the cause of the pain.
We know this because, we have seen cases where a large disc herniation is seen on the right, but the pain is on the left. Also, some conditions, like sciatica, do not show up on an imaging study.
Our goal is to render you as pain free as possible and assist you in reaching your highest level of functional activity. The ultimate objective is for you to be independent of the medical system and more in control of your life.
Our Innovative 3 Step Approach
First, we complete a set of diagnostic procedures to map the source(s) of your pain. This process alleviates any guesswork on a proper diagnosis.
MINIMALLY INVASIVE PROCEDURES
The second step involves treatment directly at the source of your pain through a minimally invasive procedure. Most of the procedures are outpatient, involve minimal recovery time and do not require stitches.
The final step involves rehabilitation to keep you healthy and pain free.
